A CP1 pallet is one of the standard pallet types defined by the CP (Chemical Pallet) system, which was developed for the European chemical and plastics industries. These pallets are designed to handle bags, boxes, and other containers of chemicals safely and efficiently.

Type: Four-way entry wooden pallet (can be lifted from all four sides)

Standard dimensions: 1200 mm x 1000 mm (length x width)

Height: Typically around 138 mm

Design: Similar to the EUR-pallet (also known as a Euro pallet), but slightly different in dimensions and construction

Top deck: Nine or more wooden boards arranged longitudinally

Bottom deck: Three base boards with additional stabilising blocks for enhanced strength

Load capacity: Approximately 1000–1500 kg (depending on condition and construction quality)

Material: Usually made of softwood, treated in accordance with ISPM 15 for international shipping
