Timber decking is designed to support pallets on your racking but can also be used as a shelf for non-palletised items. Our open boarded decking has a 22mm gap between the wooden slats and the batons underneath hold it in place between the racking beams. All warehouse decking is manufactured in the UK to the highest standards using timber sourced from sustainable woodlands.
Our standard Racking deck board thickness are 22 / 38mm with a 22 x 50mm gap clearance between each board. The runners underneath add additional strength to the racking. We can also supply racking frames which are completely closed with no gaps.
Timber racking frames are manufactured out of a number of wooden slats which are machine nailed into the battens. They can be made to any size, and they work to enhance the overall safety of the racking system by eliminating the risk of pallets falling through the beam. They can also be used to support stillages or undersized pallets to provide additional support to prevent stock from falling through the racking.
