What Size Are Wooden Pallets?

Here at Associated Pallets, we have a wide range of wooden pallets varying from small to large in size. The smallest wooden pallet we offer is 600mm x 400mm, and the largest pallet we offer is 1200mm x 1200mm.

New Wooden Pallet Sizes 

Our new wooden pallets come in a wide variety of sizes to cater for multiple uses. They are manufactured to an extremely high standard. The timber used for our new wooden pallets are managed at sustainable woodlands. We offer competitive rates for our new wooden pallets. We offer larger size pallets including 1000 x 1000mm, 1200 x 1000mm and 1200 x 1200mm. Also, for our new wooden pallet range, we offer smaller sized pallets, including 600 x 400mm, 800 x 600mm and 1200 x 800mm. 

New Recycled Wooden Pallets

Our new recycled pallets not only come in different sizes, but they are sustainable and environmentally friendly. They are a great option for you if you are cost conscious and want to help protect the environment. We offer three different sizes for our new recycled wooden pallet range. The sizes include 1000 x 800mm, 800 x 600mm and 600 x 400mm. For every 50 – 100 new recycled pallets sold, we can help protect one fully grown tree. To put the numbers into perspective, in the last 18 months, we have managed to save approximately 26 cubic metres of timber being used. 26 cubic meters equivalates to around 67 trees, which is amazing.

Used Wooden Pallets

Our used wooden pallets are a great cost effective option. These pallets do not compromise on functionality, and they stand around 60% less cost. With these pallets boasting great quality, they are often the most popular choice. This is why our used wooden pallets have the most size options available. We have 12 different sizes available, ranging from 800 x 800mm being the smallest to 1200 x 1200mmm being the largest.

UK Standards For Pallet Size

Across the world, there are different sizes that are acceptable for transportation. The UK has set out their own rules and guidelines on this. Generally speaking, a standard UK pallet size is 1000 x 1200mm. However, the size can vary depending on height, width, length, weight and even how much weight the pallet can hold. 

Europe Standards

Europe has a different standard compared to the UK. Across Europe and the UK, the most commonly used pallet size is 1200 x 800mm, which is smaller than the standard UK pallet size. Therefore if you were looking to move the pallets into Europe, you would have to be careful around the sizing. The Euro pallet production is monitored closely by the European Pallet Association (EPAL).

Worldwide Standards

For international standards, there are multiple accepted sizes. The International Standards Organisation (ISO) has set standards alongside EPAL for pallet sizes. These sizes include 800 × 1200mm and 1000 x 1200mm for use in Europe, for Asia;1067 × 1067mm for use in North America. For Europe and Asia, the pallet size would need to be 1100 × 1100mm for use in Asia, 1165 × 1165 mm for Australia and 1219 × 1016 mm for  North America.
