Associated Pallets Saves Winchester Fireworks Display!

Recently, Associated Pallets made headlines in Winchester after we solved a firewood crisis leading up to the largest fireworks and bonfire night of the year.Â
The charity fireworks event is held in Winchester every year by the Winchester Round Table, and this year marked the 65th anniversary. However, rather than excitement, there was uncertainty as the previous supplier of firewood went out of business.
It takes an army of volunteers and material suppliers each year to make the charity event a reality, and without a grand collection of viable firewood, the event would’ve been shut down. After all, you can’t have a bonfire without something to burn!
Luckily, the team at Associated Pallets was able to pull through! We’ve always got a reliable supply of high-quality wooden pallets and pallet accessories on hand to meet our customers’ requirements. We’re proud to have been able to successfully save the Winchester fireworks display and let people all around the city enjoy the long-time traditional event.
The massive bonfire, which took place on Saturday, November 4th, at North Walls Recreation Ground, was crafted out of giant cubes of stacked wooden pallets! It was indeed a sight to see such a tower burn, and the orange and red flames were met with cheer and amazement from the crowds that attended.
For those concerned about the wood used for the bonfire, fret not!
